Andrea Navedo

Andrea Navedo is an American actor and author. She started out her acting career in the soaps One Life to Live & Guiding Light, and later performed in numerous roles as a supporting actress in primetime television. Andrea Navedo was born 10 October 1977, on the streets of The Bronx New York United States. Navedo started her acting career as a daytime actress in soaps. Between 1995 and 1997 she was a part of the cast as Linda Soto on the ABC soap drama One Life to Live. She was also cast on The CBS soap Guiding Light, as Theresa Sandoval between 1999 and 2000. Her film debut came with a brief appearance for the role of Girl 6 (1996) then starred in episodes of New York Undercover and The District. Navedo played with Double Take in 2001 and Washington Heights the next year. Navedo was a frequent character on the NBC Crime series Law & Order, as Detective Ana Cordova from 2001-2004. He later appeared in Law & Order: Criminal Intent Damages and Blue Bloods. Navedo played in numerous other films, such as El Cantante or Remember Me. From 2011 to 2013 Navedo has also appeared in recurring roles in How to Make It in America Golden Boy and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. Navedo was a part of the comic film Superfast! The Fast and the Furious parody released in 2015 was a parody of the Fast and Furious television series. Navedo started her acting career with the daytime soap operas. Between 1995 and 1997, she played Linda Soto on ABC's soap show One Life to Live. The show was relaunched by the CBS soap opera Guiding Light in 1999 as Theresa Sandoval. Her debut film role was in a small role on Girl 6 (1996). In the following years, she was a guest star on shows like New York Undercover, The District and The District. Navedo played in Double Take (2001), an action comedy.
