Allana Ferguson bio
Allana was first a part of Australia at Rugby Sevens back in 2013. Then, after suffering several knee injuries through the years, Allana switched to rugby union. Allana was the first woman to play in a match in the 2015 season of rugby league and was a star for New South Wales when they played Queensland. Allana also added radio to the roster, and makes regular appearances as part of the 2GB's Continuous Call Team. Allana also holds a teaching degree. Allana Ferguson has the unique privilege of representing Australia in three different sports including Rugby sevens (rugby league) along with touch, and also the rugby union. Allana Ferguson, the Jillaroos' top player in rugby is forced to end her professional career because of tear her ACL 4 times. Ferguson was 25, and had torn her ACL in the same leg at the age of 15-17 and at 20. Following a third tear, she realized it was the right the right time to end her career. Ferguson, JILLAROOS playmaker and fourth year ACL injury victim, was forced to leave in the early hours. Ferguson has confirmed to The Courier Mail that she was injured during training in the month of November. She has been a face of women's Rugby League throughout the years.
